Likely, as many do, you'll gasp as something that has percolated in your heart for years takes shape in rough charcoal lines on paper in front of your eyes. As the conversation continues, the shapes develop and come to life as we take your desires in hand and show you possibilities for fulfilling them in ways you never dreamed of. Our renderings are done by hand in watercolor – art at every turn. In fact, many of our renderings end up hanging on the walls of the homes we build.

We've curated a network of suppliers of antique and new materials that can find anything a heritage home dream could require. This is how your home will step, brand new, out of your dreams and into reality looking like it has been there for hundreds of years. Through perfectly (or sometimes imperfectly) quarried and chiseled stone, aged timbers, and ironwork that nobody makes anymore, your home will speak of solidity, beauty, and history.

This is where the chisel meets stone and the hammer the nail. In the hands of our craftsmen, the rough tools of the trade are wielded like watercolor brushes. Every cut and every fastener is placed with skill earned by decades of practice. All of our craftsmen, whether contract or staff, are chosen for their superlative skill in their trade and aesthetic alignment with our design style and standards. We let them bring their creativity to bear on your project and each one adds their own flourish in ways that harmonize with and enhance your dream. Our craftsmen are artists and love the projects we do so much that many of them have been members of our team for over 20 years.
